July 6, 2007 – Norris Alister Barnes, also known as "Brother B," died on Monday, July 2, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital, at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife: Pastor Muriel Barnes; daughters: Avernella Thomas, Sandra Glasgow, Debra Barnes and Jaocinth Revan; and sons: Anthony Carty and Henry Barnes. He is also survived by sister, Ashby Benjamin; grandchildren: Yves Ephraim, Roland Thomas, and Omar, Chaundel, Shanise and Shante Revan; Matthew and Michael Barnes; Elisha, Joshua, Samuel and Kiara Carty, and Sadé Brown; great grandchildren: Jasmin, Aliah and Yvana Ephraim; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 9-10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 11, at Miracle Revival Church, Beeston Hill. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
