Brief: Power Interruption Scheduled Sunday in Vicinity of Airport

July 20, 2007 — A power interruption from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday will affect customers in the area of the Anguilla Sewage Plant, Henry Rohlsen Airport and the Randall “Doc” James Horse Racing Complex, according to a news release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority.
“Line crews will be working west of the airport to replace burnt potheads for Feeder No. 8,” the release said. Drivers are asked to drive carefully and obey all traffic directions.
"Every effort will be made to restore service as soon as possible,” the release said. “WAPA apologizes for any inconvenience that may occur as a result of this service interruption.”
