Feeling Proud of St. Croix

Dear Source:
I read the Source every day and sometimes I'm disappointed because it seems so much that is disturbing is happening. Even though I no longer live on St. Croix, I still feel as though it is my home. That is why, when I read the article about Chris Finch and the Food Stamp Program I felt uplifted. To be second in the nation on anything is a real honor, and for St. Croix to have this honor is so special. It makes me feel proud to say I was part of the community for so many years. And I'm sure that there will be a lot more good things happening in the future.
