VIPA to Hold Crown Bay Christmas Fiesta

Dec. 14, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Port Authority invites the public to the Crown Bay Center's Sea-Side Christmas Fiesta, to be held from noon to 9 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 21.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the territory's newest shopping and entertainment destination, as they enjoy a full day of holiday entertainment. There will be local food and craft vendors, a Cruzan Rum tasting cart, carolers, live bands and cultural dancers. There will also be face painting and other activities for the children, and Santa and his helpers will be distributing treats, according to a press release from VIPA.
Entertainment will include Rising Stars "Pan Around the Neck" Steel Band, BCB Burning Blazers Steel Band, Ulla Muller Steel Band, Gladys Abraham Elementary School Choir, Sammy Watts, Smalls and the Merry Makers, Sweeta Band and a Cultural Parade.
