Dec. 18, 2007 – Cheryl Francis, wife of Lt. Gov. Gregory Francis, will bring Christmas cheer to children at the Annas Hope Headstart Center on St. Croix. She will present gifts donated by the Employee Relations Committee of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, according to a press release from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
The committee works to foster improved workplace relations and coordinate outreach activities. Over the past few weeks, they have collected toys, books and stuffed animals to give to the Headstart students. The gifts are donated in memory of Myr-Chel Smith, an employee of BearingPoint, who was a very active member of the Employee Relations Committee and died this year.
