Baa Library Offers Workshop on Financial Health

In conjunction with the Friends of the St Thomas Public Libraries, the Enid M. Baa Public Library to maintain and improve the quality of library services to the community, the library has planned a community-interest series of events.
The first event is a financial health workshop scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 25. In the morning, local bank representatives will offer advice on credit, lending practices and the advantages of their banking institutions. In the afternoon, local representatives for Credit Justice Services, specializing in report verification and repair, will present the basics: why a credit score is important, how to improve good credit and how to repair bad credit. Private sessions after the presentation are optional.
The library is providing these programs free and open to the general public; some parking will be reserved adjacent to the library and refreshments will be provided.
