Annual Hope Benefit Brings Toys to Kids

Nov. 25, 2008 – The third annual Hope Benefit presented by St. Croix Chamber of Commerce and the Hotel and Tourism Association will be held at 6 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Divi Carina Bay Casino Ballroom. The event will benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of the V.I. and the Patrick Henry Hospitality Scholarship.
For an advance ticket, participants can drop off two new, unwrapped toys from Nov. 17-Dec. 3, at Anything Goes Deli, St. Croix Chamber of Commerce, Divi Carina Bay Resort, Palms at Pelican Cove or the Travel Desk of St. Croix.
Admission at the door is $40 or two unwrapped toys (valued at $20 each).
There will be music, food, and live and silent auctions. The entertainment will feature Capitol Records recording-artist Javier Colon. There will also be a special performance by The Boys and Girls Club and Ben Staron on piano.
