Fifth Constitutional Convention Schedules Plenary Session for St. Thomas

Nov. 30, 2008 – The Fifth Constitutional Convention of the Virgin Islands has scheduled a plenary session for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) conference room on the second floor of the Nisky Center, St. Thomas. This session is a continuation of the one that had to be postponed on Oct. 14, due to Hurricane Omar.
"The Christmas Holiday Season is also upon us and this will not diminish the quality of work being done for the people of these United States Virgin Islands. I want to assure the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands that as delegates, we continue to be committed to doing the people's business…completing and presenting the constitution," said Convention President Gerard Luz James II.
The delegates remind the general public that they are welcomed and encouraged to attend all plenary sessions and committee meetings.
