Brief: VIBF Sets U18 Squad for Texas Tourney

Virgin Islands Basketball Federation announces the players selected for the U18 National Team that will participate in the Americas Championship in San Antonio, Texas, June 26-30.

The players selected are Kadeem Jones, Rasheed Swanston, Amadius Derweer and Javier Martinez from Central High School, Salim Ross, Tarik McMillan and Jose Santos from the Educational Complex, Merwin Potter and Charles Pemberton from Charlotte Amalie High School, Agyei Gregory and Dornell Weaver from Antilles School, and Aaron Brown from St. Benedicts High School in New York.

The team will be lead by head coach Jareem Dowling and three assistants. The assistant coaches are Jerome Tang, Pedrito Estrill, and Alvan Jarvis. Estrill and Jarvis are head coaches at Charlotte Amalie and the Central High School.
