A walk to show unity in the face of violence that was scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled.
Walk for Mothers organizer Judith Grybowski said the event had to be moved to a new date because of the rain.
The walk is being held after two people, one a 14-year-old girl, were shot a little over a week ago at Coki Point Beach.
The walk has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Monday. Participants are asked to wear white and bring a flashlight.
The walk will start at the Renaissance Hotel and end at the beach.
