Two armed, masked men robbed three victims, striking one on the head with a gun, Wednesday night at the Mountain Top Gas Station.
According to the V.I. Police Department, officers on St. Croix were notified of the first-degree robbery at about 10:15.
One victim told police he and his cousin were closing the business when two masked men approached them armed with handguns. The men pointed guns at them and demanded money. One victim was struck in the head with a gun.
The suspects took cash from both victims, along with two iPhones. The suspects also robbed a third victim who was in the same area, taking his Android cell phone before fleeing on foot into the bushes on the southern side of the gas station.
The victim said both suspects were wearing T-shirts over their faces.
