Gov. Kenneth Mapp on Friday nominated four more cabinet members, appointing them to be the acting commissioners of the departments of Health, Human Services, Education and Planning and Natural Resources.
The four new acting commissioners are: Jean-Pierre Oriol at Planning and Natural Resources; Phyllis Wallace at Health; Richard Lacombe at Human Services; and Cecilia Milliner-Emanuel at Property and Procurement.
According to a statement from the administration, the four will serve as acting commissioners "until such time as all agencies and instrumentalities have been fully evaluated." All the nominees will go before the Legislature for confirmation. These four join more than a dozen appointments made just before the new year. (See related links below)
