GERS Invites Members to Financial Literacy Workshop

The Government Employees’ Retirement System (GERS) invites its members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop that will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the second-floor training room, at the GERS Complex, Kronprindsens Gade, St. Thomas.

The objective of this workshop is to empower participants to take a more active role in developing a financial life-plan by means of education. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they will have an opportunity to:

• Assess where they are today

• Explore investment options

• Look at the impact of life events on their finances

• Develop an action plan
