Wyndham Vacation Ownership to Donate $15,000 to DOE and $20,000 in Scholarships

For the fourth year in a row, representatives from Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) will present a monetary donation in the amount of $15,000 to the St. Thomas Department of Education at the University of the Virgin Islands Summit. In addition, the company will also provide two $10,000 scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a business degree in hospitality.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Oct. 27, at the University of the Virgin Islands Summit in Chase Auditorium at the Business School.

Since the initial development announcement of its inaugural Margaritaville Vacation Club resort (Wyndham, St. Thomas) in 2013, Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) has been committed to supporting several local education programs, establishing college internships and creating career opportunities in hospitality, operations, sales and marketing.
