Public Libraries Adjust Hours of Service for Holiday Season

Effective Monday, Nov. 28, holiday library hours at the Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library, the Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, the Athalie Petersen Public Library and the Florence Williams Public libraries will be opened to the public from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources.

The temporary reduced library hours for the Elaine Sprauve Library remain the same as Monday, Wednesday and Friday, opening to the public from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., as previously announced in the DPNR press release issued on Sept. 1.

After the holiday season, effective Jan. 9, 2017, the library hours for the Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library, Florence Williams Public Library and the Athalie Petersen Public Library will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and the Elaine Sprauve Public Library hours will remain the same: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
