Campaign Disclosure Reports Are Due for Candidates, Political Committees Jan. 18

Supervisor Caroline F. Fawkes reminds candidates and political committees pursuant to Title 18, Virgin Islands Code, Section 905 that the Dec. 30th Campaign Disclosure Report is now due. She said, “The Dec. 30, 2016 Disclosure Report must be submitted to the Office of the Supervisor of Elections no later than Jan. 18, 2017.”

“Failure to submit the campaign disclosure report by the deadline will result in candidates and political committees incurring fees. Candidates who are delinquent in submitting their report(s) are subject to having their names published in the local newspapers as delinquent candidates/elected officials,” Fawkes said.

The location of the offices are as follows: •St. Croix District Office: Sunny Isle Annex, Unit 4 (adjacent to the Social Security Office) •St. Thomas-St John Office: 9200 Lockhart Gardens (above Banco Popular) Contact Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes at Caroline.fawkes@vi.gov or 773-1021 (office) or 227-8827 (cell).
