The Rotary Club of St. John will distribute additional school supplies to students during the week of Oct. 1-5. Members will distribute school supplies, dictionaries and planners to students of the Julius Sprauve School. Planners will be delivered to Gifft Hill and the Christian Academy; both of these schools have already received their share of the supplies and dictionaries.
The Rotary Club has been distributing these items for the past 15 years. Students in pre-K through the second grade receive folders that include a coloring book about responsible animal ownership, crayons, pencils, a pencil sharpener, erasers, a ruler, a glue stick, construction papers and stickers for fun. Third graders receive the dictionaries; fourth through twelfth grade receive day planners with uplifting messages.
The Rotary Club of St John is actively looking for new members. Please attend one of the regular meetings to learn more. See the Rotary Club of St. John or website or the Facebook page for information.
