The Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums has launched the Story Time Initiative territory-wide. This initiative fosters and promotes community involvement and serves as a catalyst for youngsters to develop a love for their library and to read at a young age, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR).

Story Time will be held in the Children’s Room at the following libraries:
St. Croix – Florence A. Williams Public Library, Christiansted
Tuesday, Dec. 11 and every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
St. John – Elaine Ione Sprauve Library and Museum of Cultural Arts
Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, and every Monday at 10:30 a.m.
St. Thomas – Charles Wesley Turnbull Regional Public Library, Tutu Park Mall, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, and every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

DPNR Commissioner Dawn L. Henry Esq. strongly encourages parents of young children to participate in Story Time at a library near them. website: http://dpnr.vi.gov
