Oswyn Lennox Gabriel Massiah Dies at 73

Oswyn Lennox Gabriel Massiah

Oswyn Lennox Gabriel Massiah of No. 73 Cane Carlton was born
March 22, 1946 and died July 18, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Nelson Massiah; special friends: Velda Massiah, Linda Campbell, and Pastor and Mrs. Julian Rullow; mother, Grace Massiah; father, Sylvester Archibald (both deceased); daughters: Betty Ann Richards (deceased), Michelle Beresford, Gracelyn-Massiah Goodridge and Urslyn Massiah-Romain; son, David Massiah; and sons-in-law: Giddel Beresford, Ivan Goodridge, Pasqunel Romain and Colwin Richards.

He is also survived by sister and brothers: Lena, Roy and Mark Massiah; grandchildren: Gabriel and Mariska Beresford, Evin, DeJuan, Jaden and Liliete Richards, Jahmar Echevarria and Jahmoi Goodridge, C’Monique and Leonel Romain; great-grandchild, Jevon Richards; aunts: Joyce Chandler and Ena Watson; uncles: Simeon “Uncle Timmy” Reid and Adolphus Massiah; and nieces: Cathyann, Marietta, Candice, Marcelline, Sharon, Amanda and Cicely Massiah.

Other survivors include nephews: Randy, Elijah, Treavor, Keston and Elvis Massiah; special family: Central Seventh-day Adventist Church Family, Elvina and James Martin and family, Gibbs family, Winston and Debbie Joseph and family, Pearl Lescott, Patsy Jarvis, Elder Lazarine Alfred and the Sabbath School Class No. 12; as well as other families and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m., at the Seventh-day Adventist Church – Central 17-A Estate Plessen. Burial will be at Kingshill Cemetery. Professional Services entrusted to Divine Funeral Home.
