Carol L. Walcott of North Street died on Jan. 4.
She is survived by her companion, Stanley Vanterpool; daughters: Alison Saunders, Tiffany Saunders and Kimberly Vanterpool; sons: Derek Saunders and Brian Saunders; grandchildren: Alijah, Zahlasa, Nahkeka Chinnery, Adonis, Avantae, Amiyah Saunders, Dantae Antione, Rahkeem Johnson, Davian Wheeler and Markeda Rhymer; and great-grandchildren: Rahzai and Rahzair Gumbs, Nahstasia Saunders, Raheem Daniel, Malaysia and Leilaysia Acoy.
She is also survived by her sister, Nilda Walcott; brother, Merril Walcott; nieces: Monique Walcott and Nicole Flemming; nephews: Mathew Walcott, Leland Walcott and Miguel Tricoche; daughter-in-law, Curlita Saunders; sister-in-law, Olive Walcott; special friends: Verna Harney, Delarie Williams, Paula Melius and the Pryce family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
