Eugenia Lima Correa Dies at 90

Eugenia Lima Correa, a/k/a Genia, of Frederiksted, St. Croix, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.  She was 90 years old.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eustaquia Danois Camacho and father, Jesus Lima Rivera.

She is survived by her spouse, Alfonso Correa (Guison) daughters; Carmen Correa Viera / Spouse: Oscar D Camara, Euguenia Chandler / Spouse: Elgyn Chandler, Margarita Khan / Spouse: David Khan; sons, Alfonso Correa Jr (Guito), Rafael Correa (Angel Luis) / Spouse: Antonia Rivera Viera, Jonathan Hitesman; grandchildren, Christopher, Lakecia, Jessalyn, Miosotis, David, Maggie, Jason, Angela, Leslie, Ashley, Davier, Micheal, Joshua, Bianca, Rafael (Bebo); great-grandchildren, Jerrell, Shanicy, Trey, Jordan, Miles, Christy, Kamaria, Aubrey, Alexavier, Cruz, David, Alexalyn; daughter-in-law, Antonia Rivera Viera; nephews-in-law, Junior & Shirwyn; nieces-in-law, Thon, Yolanda, Shannon; nieces, Margarita Lima, Olga (Bulin); nephews, Felipe Lima, Alfredo Lima, Angel Lima, Ezequiel Sankitts; special friends, Hans Lawaetz, Ana Lopez, Avelino Romero a/k/a Uncle Bully, Michael DeChabert; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A special thank you to Norma Velazquez Harris for the love, patience, and dedication you showed in helping to care for Eugenia Lima Correa. Your presence made a difficult journey easier, and your kindness and love will never be forgotten. The family also wishes to express a special thank you to Judith Santos for your devoted caregiving, friendship, and unwavering support. Your compassion and generosity meant more than words can express.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29, at Schuster’s Crematorium, LLC, located at 139 Castle Coakley, Christiansted St. Croix USVI. A repast will also be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at the American Legion Hall, located at 56-A Prince Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI.

Cremation Arrangements are entrusted to Schuster’s Crematorium, LLC
