Ignacio Jose Creque, better known as “Jose,” died on Jan. 25, on St. Thomas at the age of 55.
Jose was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Simon Creque; and mother, Francisca Antonia Cano.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lucy Ruiz; daughter, Annais Creque; brother, Miguel Alfredo Creque; sisters: Belkis, Ignacia and Rafaela Creque; nieces: Esther Creque, Berenice Rodrigues, Genesis Creque and Arizabel Creque; nephews: Ishmely, Nick, Manuel, Jordys, Guillermo and Christopher Creque; and special friends: Nick, Giselle and Gabriel Ruiz, and Maribel OKeye.
He is also survived by other friends: Juan Squiabro, Jene Huggins, Daniela Ellington, Jose “Prestamista,” Ivan Van Beverhoudt, Angela, Joan Van Holten, Carmen and Juan Cardona, Whycliffe Hart, Maria Rivera; Candidee family friends: Lou Donastorg, Mervin Ford, Eugene and Travis Greenaway, and Stephanie Joseph; goddaughter, Gabriela Ruiz; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Celestial Chapel – Dan Hurley Home for Funerals. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7, at the Celestial Chapel – Dan Hurley Home for Funerals. The service will follow immediately at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
