Armed Robbery Reported in Charlotte Amalie

On Monday at around 12:18 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified of a robbery that occurred outside the Bliss Bar on Back Street, Charlotte Amalie.

The female victim reported to police that she and a male friend had been standing outside the bar when a vehicle pulled up to them. According to the victim, two black males wearing masks and armed with guns exited the vehicle and robbed them of jewelry and a mobile phone. The male victim suffered a minor injury when one of the suspects pressed his firearm against his head, causing a small contusion.

This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Police urged anyone with information about the incident to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
