Oriental Bank Changes Service Hours Due to Coronavirus

Following the spreading of the coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide and committed to the community that it serves, Oriental Bank has announced a change to its service hours effective Tuesday, March 24.

Oriental branches in Altona, St. Thomas and Sunny Isle, St. Croix will be open to the public for the days and times listed below until further notice.

Branch Lobby Hours (Limit of 10 people at a time)

Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Advertising (skip)

Thursday to Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Drive-thru Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Phone Customer Service Center

Monday to Sunday: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Oriental encourages its clients to use available technology to make their banking transactions instead of visiting the branches. Among the alternative services clients have available are:

  • Online Banking and Mobile Banking – Access an account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customers can check balances, make payments and transfer funds, among other transactions.
  • Cash Management – Commercial customers can access their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Verify balances, make payments, process fund transfers, process ACH transactions and make deposits and collections remotely.
  • Drive-thru Lanes at the Branches – If a customer needs to make a deposit, payment or money withdrawal, use this option Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For updates on branch hours and services, visit www.orientalbank.com.
  • Phone Customer Service Center – This service center will now operate from 8-11 a.m. Customers can check balances, make payments, transfer funds between accounts and verify the status of their transactions, paid checks, among other transactions. They can access this information by calling 787-766-4999.
  • Commercial Customer Service Center – Costumers should continue to contact a relationship officer if they need assistance for POS or Cash Management.

o   Customers can call 693-9741, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Make Loans Payments Online:

o   Customers with accounts originated from the former Scotiabank can do so through Web Payment. This service allows them to make online payments for personal loans, cars and car leases, even if they do not have a deposit account with Oriental Bank. Access it through www.orientalbank.com.
