VITRAN bus

The Department of Public Works and VITRAN announces the expansion of ADA-Paratransit services for certified passengers. Effective Tuesday, May 26, VITRAN will provide services one day per week for non-medical trips such as grocery shopping, banking and other locations. Certified passengers must make reservations by calling VITRAN at 340-773-1664 on St. Croix, 340-774-5678 on St. Thomas or 340-626-4010 on St. John.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, passengers are asked to always wear masks while traveling on the bus.

The department is urging the community to take personal responsibility and practice good hygiene to reduce their risk of contracting and/or spreading the novel coronavirus.
