STT Business Reports Scooters, Dirt Bike Stolen

The V.I. Police Department is investigating s burglary that reportedly took place Monday morning at Sunshine Scooters, which is located at Mandela Circle on St. Thomas.

According to police, officers were dispatched at about 11 a.m. to the business. There the owner, whose name was not released by police, told officers the business had been locked and secured at 9 p.m. Sunday. Returning at 9 a.m. Monday, the owner discovered that the business had been burglarized.

Four scooters and a dirt bike were removed from the business, according to police.

Police asked anyone with information about this crime to contact police by calling 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 extension 5608 or the anonymous tip servile, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
