M’wanga Audain, a 40-year-old resident of Mutual Homes on St. Croix, turned himself into the V.I. Police Department after learning that a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police charged him with first-degree reckless endangerment, unauthorized possession of a firearm, aggravated assault and battery, possession of ammunition, discharging and aiming a firearm, simple assault and battery, and third-degree assault. Police said he was charged in connection with an incident that occurred on May 8 in Mutual Homes, where he allegedly assaulted two minor females and discharged a firearm within the residence.

Bail for Audain was set at $100,000. Unable to post bail, he was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
