Two Arrested, Charged with Grand Larceny.

At 6:51 a.m., Wednesday, officers of the V.I. Police Department’s Criminal Investigation and Special Operations Bureaus arrested 18-year-old Omarion Francis of La Grange. A short time later 19-year-old Luis Navarro of Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion, an alleged co-conspirator, turned himself in to police.

Both were arrested on warrants issued by the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands charging them with grand larceny and possession of stolen property.

Francis and Navarro are suspects in an incident that occurred at the Island Center for the Arts on March 24.

Bail for Francis and Navarro was set at $50,000 each. Neither was able to post bail, and they were both turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections, pending their advice of rights hearings.
