Coral Bay Ceremony Pays Tribute to Johnians Who Served

Members of the American Legion Post 131 pay tribute to Virgin Islanders who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Memorial Day ceremony was held in Coral Bay Monday at the Moravian Church Cemetery. The tomb of each military vet was decorated with a small American flag and the names of those who died in service or as military vets were read. The event was sponsored by the Office of Veteran’s Affairs and the American Legion District No. 10. (Source photos by Judi Shimel)
