VI Fire Service Lifts Burn Ban

The Virgin Islands Fire Service advises the general public that the ban on burning in the territory has been lifted.

Applications for burn permits are now available at the Arson Prevention and Investigation Unit’s offices in both districts. A valid permit is required for all outdoor burning.

For additional information, residents and businesses may contact the Arson Prevention and Investigation Unit at 773-8050 (STX) or 774-7610 (STT-STJ).
