Soccer Association to Present Senior Men’s CONCACAF Nations League Team Selection

U.S Virgin Islands Soccer Association (USVISA)

The USVI Soccer Association will host a virtual press conference at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, on the Zoom platform.  Head Coach Giba Damiano will present the players who have been confirmed for the 23-man squad for the 2022/23 CONCACAF Nations League (CNL) Tournament, presented by Qatar Airways.  The 2022–23 CNL will be the second season of the CONCACAF Nations League, a competition involving the men’s national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF.

The group phase of the tournament will start on June 1, and the final tournament, which will decide the champions, will be played in June 2023.  The Nations League also serves as a qualifier for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The Dashing Eagles play in League C and have been drawn into Group A with Bonaire, Turks and Caicos Islands and St. Maarten.
