Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. has issued a 38th Supplemental Executive Order modifying the “Open Doors Phase” of the COVID-19 pandemic to allow ferries and water taxis to resume carrying 100% of their capacity.

“Ferry and private water taxi vessels leaving or entering the territorial waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands may now carry a maximum number of occupants onboard in compliance with the maximum capacity certified by the U.S. Coast Guard for the maximum weight and number of passengers for each vessel,” according to the executive order.

Archived copies of all COVID-19 Supplemental Executive Orders Governor Bryan issued regarding the COVID-19 pandemic are available at www.vi.gov/executive-orders.

The Bryan-Roach Administration is investing in the Territory’s people, infrastructure and future through transparency, stabilizing the economy, restoring trust in the government and ensuring that recovery projects are completed as quickly as possible. Visit https://transparency.vi.gov
