Ignacio Armando Llanos Sr. Dies at 78

Ignacio Armando Llanos Sr.

Ignacio Armando Llanos Sr., also known as “Mandy,” of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands died on Friday, Aug. 25. He was 78 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Norma D. Llanos; sons: Ignacio Llanos Jr. and Robert Llanos Sr.; daughter, Maurecia Z. Llanos; grandchildren: Linda, Ignacio, Anthony, Veronique, Robert, Leeandra Llanos, Reniece Llanos-Lake, Kristle and Mandisa Casey; great-grandchildren: Tianni, Tionn, Kamron, Kamiah, Analina, Aubrey, Anthony Llanos and Jah’Marley, Jahmel and Kayleah Claxton.

He is also survived by his brother, Luis Llanos Sr.; sisters-in-law: Joyce, Cleone and Renita Llanos, Beatrice and Dorette Pemberton; daughters-in-law: Carmen and Renee Llanos; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at the Kingshill Cemetery.
