It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Andre Berry Jr., also known as “Red,” on Nov. 1, during his battle with cancer.
He was the son of Andre Louis Berry [deceased] and Marie Simone Bryan (Greaux).
He is survived by children: Amanda Lewis, Brandy Lewis, Andre Berry III and Justin Berry; grandpa or “Pop Pop” to: Charlton Washington, Kayden Adams, Kyler Adams, Jalena Berry, Ameera Skanes, Andrea Berry, Baby Berry, Levi Berry, Carter Berry and Ila Berry; and siblings: Karen McGarry, Lisa Pochette, Kevin Berry [deceased], Kenneth Berry and Stephanie Berry.
Other survivors include brothers-in-law: Kevin McGarry, Guito Pochette and Andre Pickett; sister-in-law, Renee Berry; he was a stepson to Barry Greaux; as well as friends, girlfriend, aunts and uncles who stood by him through life’s ups and downs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
