DeWitt Chapman Lindley Jr. Dies at 77

DeWitt Chapman Lindley Jr. of Christiansted, St. Croix, died on Monday, Dec. 4.  He was 77 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jane Good Lindley and DeWitt Chapman Lindley Sr.; and his grandparents: Fleetwood and Bessie Lindley, Clinton and Ethel Good.

He is survived by his sister, Jane Louise Lindley; nieces: Julia Louise Hunter and Elizabeth Chapman Hunter; nephew, Austin DeWitt Hunter; great-niece, Cheyenne Ellen-Lindley Stratton; cousin, Joseph Lindley; and other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Schuster’s Crematorium LLC.
