The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services Head Start Program is inviting parents and guardians of currently enrolled Head Start students to join the Head Start Policy Council. As a Policy Council member, a parent will collaborate with fellow parents, community representatives, program management and the Head Start Governing Board to lead and make crucial decisions about their Head Start Program.
Become a leader in your Head Start Program and provide input in all areas, from hiring to budget utilization. Local and national training opportunities will be provided.
