Franciette A. Morton Dies at 64

Franciette A. Morton

Franciette A. Morton of East Street, Christiansted, St. Croix, died on Jan. 19. She was 64 years old.

She is survived by her children: Bianca, Bria and Adjani Morton; father of children, Melvin Morton; mother, Dorcas Edwards; father: Sinclair Richardson; sisters: Vernice, Janie, Shirley, Lauralee, Amanda and Erica; and brothers: Rommel, Raymond, Lester, Lionel, Eustus and Oliver.

She is also survived by numerous nieces including: Sherlita, Vernessa, Cassandra, Kishma, Melona, Christelle, Tajhare, Senecia, Nadine, Natasha, Nadira and Nia; numerous nephews including: Bernel, Darryl, Shiquille, Lionel Jr., Aruis and Marlon; and numerous great nieces to include: Arlaisha, Ajenae, Shahalie, G’Neigha, Keondra, Keana, Hallie and Sisheri.

Other survivors include numerous great nephews to include: Bernel Jr, Azandreas, G’Mali and Seniore.

Other survivors include aunts: Sonia (Lolie), Selma (Winnie) and Elise; sister-in-law, Londrina Hughes; brother-in-law, Leon Willock; special brother, Lloyd Gumbs; cousins to include: Zenith Brooks and Claudius Brooks; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 16, at Southside United Pentecostal Church (Paradise). Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
