STT-STJ to Hold Training for Site Supervisors of 2024 Summer Food Service Program

Virgin Islands Department of Education

The St. Thomas- St. John District of the Virgin Islands Department of Education has announced training sessions for site supervisors participating in the 2024 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The program will run from June 10 to July 19.

Individuals interested in participating in the 2024 Summer Food Service Program must attend one of the training sessions offered. Session date options include Friday, May 17; Tuesday, May 21; Tuesday, May 28; and Tuesday, June 4. These sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Charlotte Amalie High School cafeteria.

For campsites to receive meals for children attending their site, attendance at one of the scheduled training sessions is mandatory. It is highly encouraged that more than one representative attends the available training sessions to avoid any disruptions during the program.

Applications for site participation in the 2024 Summer Food Service Program will be available starting April 8 at the School Food Authority Office, located at 21 Sub Base, St Thomas, Virgin Islands 00802. Applicants must complete the application in full and submit the original copy to the office; duplicates or copies will not be accepted. The deadline for submitting site applications is May 24.

For additional information or inquiries, contact LuAnne Roberts, program manager at 774-0100 ext. 8310.
