VIWMA Informs Public of Emancipation Day and July 4th Holiday Schedule

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises the community of the following hours of operation for Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4, in observance of both Emancipation Day and the Fourth of July Holidays.

Island — Hours of Operation: July 3/ July 4

St. Thomas Bovoni Landfill: 6 a.m. – 4 p.m./ 6 a.m. – 4 p.m.

St. Thomas Mandahl CC: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m./ 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

St. John Susannaberg TS: 7 a.m. – noon/ 7 a.m. – noon

St. Croix Anguilla Landfill: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m./ 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

St. Croix Peter’s Rest CC: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m./ 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Additionally, due to the July holidays, St. Croix residents residing in Estates Diamond, Diamond Ruby, Diamond and Ruby, Ginger Thomas and Sunny Acres, Mary’s Fancy, Old and New Castle Coakley, Strawberry and Strawberry Hill are advised that the regular Tuesday pick-up will be changed to Wednesday, July 5.

Also, residents residing in Estates Rattan (South), Sion Farm, Sion Hill, Tan Tan Terrace, Anna’s Hope and Constitution Hill are advised that the regular Wednesday pick-up will be changed to Thursday, July 6.
