Ivy Commenencia Tang Yuk left this life to be with the Lord on March 1 at age 60. She lived on St Croix, USVI, for over 40 years.
She was the wife of Ryan H. Tang Yuk, the mother of Ryan Gentle Tang Yuk (Ching), the grandmother of Ryan No. 1 Ivan Tang Yuk (Choochoo), and the stepmother of Sooling and Rumico Tang Yuk.
Ivy was preceded in death by her eldest brother, Gabriel (Peppy); and her parents: Alejandro Commenencia and Adela Gomez.
She leaves to mourn: brothers: Edwin (Papito), Alejandro ( Nino) and Roy Quandus; sisters: Francesca ( Fanny), Judith, Beatrix and Mary; brothers-in-law: Larry Nyack, Frank Richardson, Luis de Cuba, Tirso Tromp, Mervyn, Oswald and Vincent Tang Yuk; sisters-in-law: Elvia, Ruth, Alex and Glenda Commenencia, Linda Jerome, Barbara Beharry, and Patricia, Theresa (Toy) and Vitra (Vicky)Tang Yuk; daughter-in-law, Paula Thrasher; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews too many to mention by name.
She also leaves to mourn: the Goodwill family and the H and R Block family.
The funeral for Ivy Commenencia Tang Yuk was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church located at 10670 SE Maricamp Road., Ocala FL 34472.
The funeral service was held on Friday, March 22. The cremated remains were later taken to Aruba NIA for a final resting place.
