VI SBDC Offers Seminar Series on Business Trends to Begin July 12

The Virgin Islands Small Business Development Center (VI SBDC) will be hosting the seminar series: “Everyone Has to Play for the Virgin Islands to Win…The New Normal” (July 12-21, 2017). Marc and Casey Willson of The Willson Company will present information that will assist businesses to keep pace with the changes in business trends.  Some of the topics to be covered include:

  • Overview of today’s economic climate
  • Harvard Business School study on how consumers change their buying habits in a deep recession
  • Differentiation and Defining Your Customer
  • Retailing 101
  • Restauranteuring 101
  • Marketing and Social Media

The Willson Company is a consulting firm that has won several MAXI and Merit Awards from the International Council of Shopping Centers for its innovative training and customer service programs.  In addition to 26 regional shopping centers as clients, the company worked with The Clyde’s Restaurant Group, The John F.
