BLM Street Art Appears Overnight in Cruz Bay

A painted yellow graphic mural declaring "Black Lives Matte"' appeared overnight in Cruz Bay. Monday morning motorists, taxi tours and visitors on foot traversed the graphic with letters spanning the roadway from curb to curb, leading to the Lind Point Overlook.

Bryan Says After Protest, Action Is Still Needed

Sunday night as the sun was beginning to set, people gathered at the Lagoon in Gallows Bay and stood in silence for eight minutes and 45 seconds to mirror the time then-Minneapolis Officer Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s neck.

1,000 Thomians March to Support Black Lives Matter

About 1,000 St. Thomians walked from the FirstBank on the waterfront to Roosevelt Park Saturday as part of a Black Lives Matter protest and memorial organized by Anjali James and Brigitte Berry.

STJ: Love City Comes Out to Show That Black Lives Matter

Almost 300 residents of St. John marched through Cruz Bay Saturday morning to honor the memory of George Floyd and show support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

A motorcade crossed St. Croix Thursday in honor of the life of George Floyd, who was killed May 25 by Minneapolis police as he begged for air.
