The U.S. Virgin Islands Senate Rules Committee on Monday approved the nomination of Trevor Velinor for commissioner of the U.S. Virgin Islands Police Department and Christopher Finch for member of the board of the Juan F. Luis Hospital.

Lawyer Asks Court to Reconsider Pre-Trial Release for Nightclub Operator

Loitering Law Moves Slowly, But Advances to Full Senate

A bill to strengthen the loitering law and increase penalties for violations moved out of the Committee on Rules and Judiciary Friday and headed for the full Senate, but it is still suffering birthing pains.
