TERRITORY-WIDE INSURANCE FORUMS PLANNED

May 14, 2001–Lt. Gov. James announced today that his office will host a series of forums for the residents of the Virgin Islands to provide updated information about insurance issues in the VI, services offered by his office, and the need for insurance, particularly with hurricane season approaching.
Each forum is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The first meeting will be held Wednesday in St. Croix at the Educational Complex. A St.Thomas meeting will be held Monday, May 21, at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center; and in St. John on Tuesday, May 22, at the Legislative Conference Room.
In a release today the Luz stated that all residents are invited to attend these important and informative sessions, and he encourages discussions on insurance.
