Altercation on Job Site Leaves One Man Dead

March 10, 2006 – Little is known about a killing Friday afternoon at the Lovenlund Apartments near Magens Bay.
Sources at the scene said it appeared that an altercation between a worker and a supervisor led to the fatal shooting.
Reportedly a worker attacked a supervisor wielding a machete. The supervisor responded by shooting him.
Deputy Police Elvin Fahie Sr. said he could not offer any details as of about 4 p.m. on the killing.
He said the incident was being investigated at that point.
