Cardiac Center and Pfizer to Offer Free Screenings

Aug. 16, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Cardiac Center at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center in partnership with Pfizer Caribbean will be offering free screenings for hypertension, glucose and cholesterol. They will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 23, in the Fast Track Unit of the hospital and medical center. The free screenings will be by appointment only and provided for the first 150 persons that register.
Registration begins on Thursday, Aug. 17. To register for your screening, call 778-6311, ext. 2820 or 2780. The public is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and live healthier lives.
