Water Supply to Be Replenished at Benjamin School

Sept. 1, 2006 – Efforts have been made to replenish the water supply at the Guy Benjamin Elementary School on St. John over the holiday weekend.
The main cistern at the school had to be drained and cleaned following repair work at the school, and water will be trucked in over the weekend for use on Tuesday.
School administrators purchased drinking water for the students and staff during the interim, according to a press release from the District Superintendent of Schools Dr. Emily R. Carter.
