Sept. 12, 2006 – Clinton A. Dawson, better known as "Sparrow," died on Sept. 5, at the Lucinda Millin Home. He was 64 years old.
He is survived by his father, Alvin Dawson; mother, Mavis Dawson; daughter, Jodeen Dawson-Thompson; and son, Jermaine Dawson. He is also survived by sister, Cynthia Mactavious; brothers: Clarence "Junior" Vanterpool and Elroy Dawson; and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 9-10 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Wesley Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
