Sept. 22, 2008 – Verona George Commodore of Williams Delight died at her residence on Sept. 18. She was 89 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Commodore; children: Rupert Laurent, Helen Lecointe, Arthur Dangleben, Catherine Durand, Mark Benoit, Bernard Fregiste, Lucy Michael, Pablo George, Joan Bellot, Andrew, Matthew, Sarah and Ruth Commodore, Hilary Laurent and Lydia Watt; sons and daughters-in-law: Ivenia Laurent, Rita Dangleben, Dominique Durand, Jenny Benoit, Veronique Fregiste, Alexander Michael, Junuvese George and Jennifer Commodore; 49 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by close friends: Gisline and Paul Laurent, Pastor Wellborn and Theresa Hector, Mrs. Gilbert; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 26, at Peter's Frederiksted Baptist Church. Internment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
