Sept. 22, 2008 – Juliette Elizabeth Brooks of La Grande Princesse died at her residence on Sept. 17. She was 73 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Nadine Brooks; sons: Roy Williams, Elston, O'Neal, George Jr. and Warren Sr. Brooks; grandchildren: Jawara, Nayef, Niasha, Nailah and Najel Williams, Naeem, Nikkisha, Thawada, Naeema, J'nea, Oneal Jr., JeniQua, Omaree, Jahilah, Jahlisa, Warren Jr., Devante and Jayuyn Brooks; and great-grandchildren: Me'Kaya, Bryan Jr., Nicolai Chase and Mahalia Williams. She is also survived by sisters: Jean Lindesay, Winifred Liburd, Gloria Jackson and Marilyn Rodgers; brother, Walter Thomas; special friends: Slyvia Farrow, Emelda Jackson, Clarice, Estick, Marie and Marcia Christian, Donna Brow, Holda Walters, Slyvia, Theresa Straun, Eileen Lewis, Maude King, Midora Martin, Clydie and Julia Brooks, Ms. McFarlene and the LBJ family; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Sunday, Sept. 28, at Peter's Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Internment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
